Alex Kocman serves as the Director of Communications and Engagement for ABWE. In this role, he leads ABWE’s communications strategy, serves as General Editor of Message Magazine and the ABWE Blog, and co-hosts The Missions Show, a podcast focused on theology and global missions. He also hosts The World View, a long-form podcast addressing theology, culture, and missions from a biblical perspective. His work supports and communicates the ministry of more than 1,000 missionaries serving in over 90 countries.

Before stepping into this role, Alex directed Long-Term Mobilization for ABWE, helping churches and individuals take concrete steps toward missions.

Alex is the co-author of Missions by the Book: How Theology and Practice Walk Together with Chad Vegas, and the author of Striving for the Faith: A Journey Through Philippians for Life on Mission and Ordered to Love: Recovering the Order of Affections from the Home to the Ends of the Earth. His writing reflects a commitment to sound doctrine and the central role of the local church in the Great Commission.

He also serves as an elder and Director of Communications and Worship at Faith Bible Fellowship Church of York. He and his wife, who previously served in ABWE’s President’s Office, have five children.
