Hello, we're the Mallay family, medical missionaries to West Africa through ABWE. Our mission is to know Christ and to make him known by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements through compassion, medical, and church-planting ministries in Togo.

Halfway through our initial two-year commitment to ABWE's Hôpital Baptiste Biblique in Togo through Samaritan's Purse, we were forced to return to the United States after finding a tumor in the abdomen of our oldest daughter, Arwen. In January of 2018, Arwen was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma. Check out our webpage for an encouraging article written by Arwen in July 2018.

After two years of treatment, Arwen's cancer remained unchanged. Prayerfully, we chose to raise support to return to Togo as full-time missionaries through ABWE. We moved back to Togo in January of 2021. One year after our return to Togo, Arwen went home to be with Jesus. She was buried here in Togo, just as she requested.

Working to fulfill the great commission, we continue to work in Togo along with our remaining five children. As a family, we continue serving the Lord at HBB in Togo both through medical missions and in church planting. We also hope to see an increase in mobile clinic ministry to unreached people groups as a means for church planting.
