Russ and Cathy serve with ABWE GO as Asia Pacific Regional Director, providing leadership and support for ministry efforts in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea. Their focus is on church planting, evangelism, training, leadership development, and ministry innovation throughout the region.
The Matthews have served in Australia since 2006. Their ministries have included church planting, evangelism, children's ministries, film reviews, evangelistic events, leadership training, media ministry, and working alongside local churches.

Russ also writes interactive film reviews for Reel Dialogue and develops outreach events and resources designed to help churches engage their communities with the gospel. He is the author of The Word Becomes Film, The Maker's Quest, and Reel Marriage (available on Amazon). Cathy ministries include being actively involved in local church ministry, particularly in children's programs and women's ministries. They have been married for over 30 years and have been blessed with four children and numerous grandchildren.
