After serving for thirteen years with another missions organization in Ethiopia and then Liberia, Mike and Sherri came back to the US for the last three and a half years. Now they feel the call to step back into ministry in Africa with ABWE. They have been accepted as short term missionaries.

The plan for now is for Sherri to stay in the US while Mike goes to Africa one or two times a year for a month at a time. Mike will use his skills to help with maintenance of ABWE facilities which Mike served in our previous missions organization.

Mike and Sherri have been married for over thirty years. They have three grown children. Jon and Chelsea live in Texas along with their daughter. Jessi and Kyle live in Michigan and Ben lives in Indiana. Mike and Sherri are active members of Lakewood Park Baptist Church, Auburn, IN. Mike is a deacon. Sherri is head of the missions committee. 

Sherri currently works for a mental health facility as a life coach. Sherri loves to mentor others. She has been passionate about missions from a young age. Mike currently works as a self employed handyman. He likes to work in the background of ministry. He serves the Lord by assisting widows in the church with their home repairs and assists the church as needed. 

We are seeking financial support from others as we do not have the funds to self support Mike's trip to assist at the Hospital of Hope in Mango, Togo, West Africa. We know God may change the plan, but this is the plan for now. We are seeking financial support to cover Mike's flights, visa, food and lodging in Togo along with other various trip related expenses.

We also seek prayer support for Sherri as she stays in the US and for God to continue to provide as they will be without Mike's income while he is gone.
