Welcome! My name is Sarah, and I am so excited to share with you my heart and hopes for ministry in Budapest, Hungary.

In the fall I will be returning to the International Christian School of Budapest where I previously completed student teaching. There I will have the opportunity to teach and share the love of Christ with students in the Pre-First (Kindergarten) class.

In addition to teaching, I plan to come alongside missionary families to be a practical support in their day-to-day lives. In both of these settings, my heart is to share the gospel and provide a safe space where kids can ask questions, come to Christ if they don't know him, and grow in their relationships with him. "Jesus is more important than recess."

The kids in my class had been asking great questions about God, and I could sense their hearts seeking truth, so I let class go on a little longer than normal. This meant that we were a few minutes late to recess. For most first graders, missing even a minute of recess is a big deal. I apologized to the class and sent them on their way, only to be stopped in my tracks by this comment. What a heart check. My mind was on the schedule, and this child's heart was on the eternal. This is only one of many stories I've been privileged to witness when working with kids. It serves as a beautiful reminder of why Jesus said in Mark 10, "Let the little children come..."
