RAU has been making significant strides in Yumbe District, working closely with Aringa church leaders and forming strong partnerships with local Aringa churches for evangelism and discipleship, as well as meaningful dialogues with Muslim Sheikhs and Imams since 2013. The Aringa tribe is recognized by the Joshua Project as an unreached people group. We have also been equipping church leaders from various tribes, many of whom fall into the “unreached” category, from both South Sudan and the Republic of (North) Sudan who reside in Bidi bidi refugee resettlement camps near Yumbe.
