As the missionaries of ABWE work closely with the Nicaraguan people in the formation of churches around the country, real physical needs become glaringly apparent.

Following the example of the Apostle Paul during the first church planting movement in the New Testament, we also see the importance of meeting various physical needs as we help to meet the spiritual needs so prevalent in the country.

Paul spent years gathering funds from the more financially secure believers to give to the poverty-stricken Church of Jerusalem. We, too, feel the responsibility to have funds available for use in the poverty-stricken areas of Nicaragua.

The Nicaragua Team Benevolence Committee will respond to requests from the ABWE Nicaragua missionaries concerning the physical needs of the people among whom we minister and help them as the Holy Spirit leads and funds allow.
