After over 25 years in the secular workforce, God called Rodney and Susan Henderson to serve as ABWE missionaries. Serving with ABWE since 2004, they first served in Portugal, then Colorado, and now serve in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Rodney often is heard saying, “I am a poor servant of a great God.” It is with this mindset that they desire to serve God, seeking His will above their own.

Their Ministry

The Hendersons serve at Calvary Baptist Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Desiring to support and strengthen existing ministries, Rodney is currently evaluating potential adaptations and improvements under the leadership of the church elders. His focus is on developing teams and implementing leadership with an eye towards increased outreach. Susan is assisting with website and database development and serves on the worship team. She most loves mentoring and discipling women.
