The Birds are Jordan and Jessica, Josephine and John. Jordan and Jessica both sensed God's call to the mission field when they were young. However, after getting married, they settled down to live the American dream. Finally, God asked them if they were going to obey Him or not. They said yes and now are working towards service in Lithuania.

There is great need in Lithuania. It is less than 2% evangelical Christian and has the highest suicide rate in Europe. Many pastors are ageing and there are few young men willing to step into leadership positions. Atheism and paganism are on the rise and the Jehovah's witnesses already have a foothold. The Birds have received an invitation from the Lithuanian church to serve alongside them. They are eager to build up the church and see the hope of Christ spread in this dark place.

Jordan and Jessica cannot do this alone. They are currently the first ABWE missionaries to Lithuania. They will need God's grace above all else. They will also need a team. They are looking for partners who will invest into their lives and what God is doing through prayer, encouragement, and monthly financial partnership.
