Megan serves as an elementary teacher at Evangelical Christian Academy in Madrid, Spain. God has given her a passion for teaching, and a joy in partnering with missionary families on the field through educating their kids. There, you can find her teaching and discipling a class of students on a daily basis. Additionally, she leads a girls high school discipleship group once a week, where she pours into these young ladies who have a desire to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus.
On a missions trip in 2018, Megan saw the importance of partnering with missionary families to provide support and care for them and their children; teaching is one way to do that. Megan has always enjoyed teaching young children, and sharing the love of Jesus in her classroom. She realized that she could come alongside missionary families and be a part of teaching and discipling the next generation of Christians, missionaries, and church leaders growing up on the mission field.
When people partner through prayer or giving, they are supporting so many different things. Their commitment furthers the work of Evangelical Christian education in a nominally Catholic and post-modern country, supports the church planting missionary families as their children are given a quality Christ-centered education, and provides for the educator (in this case, Megan) to utilize her giftings and passions to the best of her ability in teaching and discipling MKs and TCKs in Madrid, Spain.
