David and Penny were church planters on the field for 25 years—16 in Ukraine and 9 in Bulgaria. They returned home in January 2023 to care for Penny's aging parents. David officially retired in June of 2023 but still hopes to make trips back to the field, including Ukraine.

Their Ministry

Penny is working part-time with Member Care. She works with the singles ministry called Flourish, as well as helping with MK Education. Penny also heads up a prayer team that holds regular Zoom meetings with her former regions—EE/CA and CentMed. Penny is passionate about holding others up in prayer. She loves to encourage others and, with years of experience on the field, she is able to help those in the Flourish ministry work through some of the difficulties they might encounter.

There is much work to be done as far as MK Education. Penny is helping the director, Dr. Cheryl Winget, grow this department to be able to better meet the needs of parents who are trying to educate their children on the field.

Giving financially goes toward their salary and funding trips to the field.

If someone wants to join their private Facebook group concerning their work, they can friend them on Facebook and ask to be added. Giving and praying are two good ways to get involved.
