For more than 47 years, David and Evelyn Stone have served as church-planting missionaries with ABWE, dedicating their lives to spreading the gospel and strengthening the church in Peru. Their lifelong commitment has led to the birth and growth of many fruitful ministries—ranging from church planting and theological education to biblical counseling, pro-life outreach, and Christian publications.

The Stones make their home in Lima, Peru, where their ministry continues to multiply.

·   David serves as professor and treasurer at Lima Baptist Theological Seminary, field treasurer for ABWE Peru, a board member of La Molina Christian Schools, and secretary of New Life Publications.

·  Evelyn is president of Life & Hope Ministries, which includes New Life Prenatal Center, Life & Hope Biblical Counseling Center, and New Life Publications. Dr. Stone also serves as professor and dean of Biblical Counseling at the seminary and is a counselor and a frequent conference speaker.

Together, they are passionate about equipping believers, strengthening families, and defending life—always with one goal in mind: to glorify Christ. As Charles Spurgeon beautifully said, “Jesus is the solitary aim of the soul, and His glory, without any admixture whatever, the final end.”

David and Evelyn have been blessed with three children and nine grandchildren, who share in the joy of their ministry legacy.
