Kent, Tanya and their 4 children have served in Southeast Asia nearly 6 years, the last 3 years in their current city, while focusing on unreached and underserved peoples. Using healthcare strategies gives unique access to areas that were previously closed to outsiders, allowing them to grow relationships that open doors for sharing the good news.
Kent, with his Masters in Theology, comes alongside local pastors and community leadership to train, encourage and strengthen them in sharing with the often overlooked or feared unreached peoples of their country.
Tanya, with her DNP, serves as the Medical Director for Hope Alive Healthcare, a birthing and postpartum clinic passionately serving the unreached and underserved. They believe in giving excellent care while sharing the good news with each person who enters. Because of the exponential growth and while identifying unmet needs of the peoples, an expansion plan to develop a hospital is underway. Partnering with other local ministries to reach the unreached and engage local believers to be bold in their sharing, growing relationships and follow-ups with those served, which gives opportunities for sharing.
