Japan

I grew up in Kansas with parents with strong principle values and was involved in missions growing up. My freshman year in college was my first introduction to Japanese culture and people and from that point on God placed those in his path to grow his love for Japan. After graduating from K-State with a degree in computer science he was on a call with his parents who prayed with him that God would show him the path. Since then he has joined the family of ABWE GO.

Only .01% of people in Japan are Christian that means out of the 125 million people only 125,000 people are saved. He is going with the intent to reach the youth and young adults with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The culture in Japan is such that the parents look for things that include their parents. So providing activities for the children helps reach the parents as well. The hope that focusing on the children will provide a way to reach the parents.

Matthew 28:16-20 states that all believers are called to missions but that does not mean the work that we do all looks the same. Some are called to do missions by praying and giving while others are called to work the fields locally or overseas. Partnering up with an overseas missionary blesses both parties as individuals are able to partake in expanding God's kingdom outside of one's own country. So when an overseas missionary brings someone to Christ they had a part in that work.

All are welcome and encouraged to be a part of ministries and get involved. The most important way is through prayer since God works mightily when everything is bathed in prayer. You can give to support the ministry and also sign up for my newsletter by emailing [email protected].
