Joshua and Jaynece believe that God is calling their family to Northern Ghana through the ministry of ABWE ~ Live Global to FOCUS on the following three key areas of ministry:
Encounter: Helping provide a sacred space where pastors and ministry leaders can experience deep, personal encounters with God through intentional quiet time, guided prayer experiences, and worship - stepping away from ministry demands to refresh their spiritual lives.
Encourage: Helping provide a supportive environment where pastors and ministry leaders can find rest, renewal, and fellowship. Offering pastoral care, counseling, and peer connection opportunities that help them process challenges and celebrate victories in ministry.
Equip: Empowering pastors and ministry leaders through practical workshops, leadership development, ministry resources, and strategic planning sessions - giving them tools to lead their congregations more effectively.
How we plan to fulfill the above three key areas of ministry:
By constructing a ministry center we named Maranatha Retreat Center ~ www.maranatharetreat.com to provide a spiritual renewal and support for Ghanaian pastors especially, those serving in the Northern part of the country. The center aims to offer a peaceful environment for prayer, reflection, theological training and fellowship with various ministry facilities and activities provided.
Pray for the ministry of Maranatha:
That God will open the hearts of the Dagomba people to receive the gospel
That God will lead us to faithful ministry partners
That God will provide the financial needs for the construction of the various ministry facilities and for ministry operations.
That the existing ministers of the Gospel will not grow weary or lose faith amidst ministry challenges among the Dagomba people group
Pray for our family:
Pray for good health, spiritual protection and strength to serve effectively
Pray for the ability to build lasting relationships as we navigate through cultural differences
Pray for the grace of God to rest upon our family during new cultural assimilation
Pray for our kids education and the development of friendships for them
