Rich and Jo Ann were appointed by ABWE to serve as church planting missionaries in the country of Peru in 1973. They have served on several foreign fields for over 50 years beginning with 33 years in Peru. The Lord then called them to train church planters in India for a year before becoming the Executive Director for Central America and the Caribbean (10 years in the region). They have just completed 8 years of theological training and church planting in Moldova.
They are church planters and love discipling younger believers. They have served as President of a Bible college and most recently as professors in a Christian University in Moldova. They are passionate about the Institute of Church Planting (ICP) in Moldova and just completed the training of 30 men and women who are planting 14 churches in Moldova. They were part of a church planting team in one of these churches. The ICP ministry helps to partially support the efforts of these servants.
The Institute of Church Planting (ICP) is an ongoing ministry focused on training believers who are committed to starting new churches. Their vision in Moldova is to see 1,000 churches started over the next 10 years. At this point, the church planters who have completed the basic training, are bi-vocational and need minimal financial support. They also hope to make short trips to Moldova to do further training as opportunities arise, which will require some financial help.
While they have an ongoing partnership and ministry in Moldova regarding the training of church planters, they have been asked to provide further theological training for the church planters. With their academic training and years of experience, we would love to continue serving the Lord in discipling committed believers. Please pray that the Lord would give us continued health and the financial resources necessary to travel to Moldova and beyond to provide seminars customized to the needs of leaders.
