Housing is one of the most basic and essential elements for a missionary to thrive long-term on the mission field. Finding suitable housing is not easy in most parts of Togo, and therefore requires much investment to renovate or even complete unfinished homes. Normally, Togolese homes have their bathrooms and kitchens separate from their homes, and it is common for there to be open windows, which increases the missionary’s exposure to malaria, for example. The home is such an important place not just for ministry opportunities but also for rest and refreshment. The goal of this project is to help missionaries develop homes in areas that will increase the impact of the Togo South Team in the communities where they are ministering.
