As we work with the Togolese in various ministries throughout Togo South, we realize there are both physical and spiritual needs that need attention. Paul said, “Share with God’s people who are in need,” (Rom 12:13, NIV). As we see glaring needs in front of us, we respond in his love by trying to help to decrease people’s burdens in small ways. “Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins,” (James 4:17, NIV). The Togo South Benevolence Committee helps to decide, with the presenting missionary, who is helped and in what fashion as funds allow.
