For the past 20 years, the English Center has been a vital part of this community and this year marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Oasis has served as a powerful avenue for evangelism in this restricted-access country and just last year we witnessed tangible fruit from these efforts. The vision of Oasis is to use our space strategically to reach local community members by teaching English, deepening relationships, and seeking gospel opportunities to share the love of Christ.

The center has a strong reputation in the community, and we are committed to seeing that continue. However, we are currently in a season of transition. Our former location has been torn down, and we have moved into a new space that, while favorable, requires updates and comes with higher expenses. We are also excited to be expanding our ministry through a new café, which will open additional doors for connection and outreach.

How to get involved:

• Pray for continued gospel impact, especially in this season of transition.
• Give financially to help cover the increased rent and necessary renovations.
• Go. We are in need of English teachers! We welcome both long-term and short-term volunteers (even just 10 weeks for one semester can make a huge difference).
