In many parts of the Middle East, kids experience harsh childhoods. Often, when families are short on money or have gone into debt, they will offer their children as workers instead of sending them to school.
In many cases, children are at risk of working in the harsh conditions at a brick factory or doing hard physical labor of another kind. Many children are under 14 years old when they go to work and as a result they miss out on the education that would give them a brighter future.
The Sponsoring Kids for School project in the Middle East seeks to sponsor kids to send them to a Christian school. This way, they are able to get out of harsh conditions, receive a quality education that will prepare them to support themselves one day, and most importantly, teach them about Jesus Christ.
