A voice for the gospel where few can read
In Mango, a Muslim-majority city in northern Togo, Hope Radio broadcasts Bible teaching and Christian music on 93.1 FM. Since 2018 the station has reached listeners across four countries in six languages. Where literacy is low and the nearest church may be hours away, radio reaches into homes and villages that no missionary can visit every week.
Eighteen Togolese staff keep Hope Radio on the air, from the general director to technicians and translators. An outreach team travels to villages every week to meet listeners who call in and to disciple them. The team is also recording the Bible in Anufo for the first time, so the Anufo people can hear God’s Word in their heart language.
What God is doing
Listeners like Ganiou, a young man from a village an hour outside the city, have found the courage to stand for Christ because of what they hear on Hope Radio. When his village pressed him to turn to voodoo for his sick mother, he refused, prayed through the night, and saw God answer. Read Ganiou’s story.
What your gift does
Hope Radio recently lost $3,500 a month in recurring support and needs to be fully supported again by December 31, 2026. Monthly gifts are what keep a radio station on the air, because its costs come every month too. $100 a month covers the salary of one Togolese staff member. Any monthly amount helps.
