The city of Chiang Rai has been devastated by severe flooding after a typhoon forced the release of a nearby dam. Homes and businesses are underwater, leaving families without shelter, basic necessities, and income. ABWE’s ministry partners on the ground, including Tim and Laura Compton, are working tirelessly to help rescue efforts and provide immediate relief.
In this time of crisis, we have a unique and powerful opportunity to show the love of Christ. Buddhist men in the community, many of whom have never encountered the gospel, have asked our team to pray for them—an incredible sign that God is opening hearts. Your support can help meet urgent physical needs, while also opening doors for the good news of Jesus Christ to be shared.
With your donation, we can provide emergency shelter, food, and materials for clean-up and rebuilding. Every gift not only helps restore homes but also gives us the chance to bring hope to those who are spiritually searching during this time of hardship.
Please note: Donations will go to the Asia Pacific Compassion Fund, which will be used for this and similar disaster relief and ministry efforts throughout the region.
