astor Leonid (Lonya) has been serving in Fair Haven church in Krasnosylka since its beginning. His father and father-in-law were also instrumental in starting this church. His father-in-law was a pastor who spent time in prison for his faith during the soviet days. ABWE team members in Ukraine have a long history partnering with this church.
This church has been actively involved in village outreach. They have weekly afternoon services in Kubanka and do ministry in New Kubanka and Shamanovka as well.
Pastor Lonya has been actively involved in the medical ministry since its beginning. The Krasnosylka church was the first clinic site. Regular medical clinics have also been held in Kubanka, New Kubanka, and Shamanovka for various amounts of time. He continues to assist with medical outreaches as a driver and a pastor/evangelist.
He and his wife Luba have five children and 2 grandchildren.
