ABWE's Togo Nursing Education Program (including nursing schools at both ABWE hospitals in Togo - Hôpital Baptiste Biblique in the south of Togo and Hospital of Hope in the north of Togo) has equipped more than 90 Togolese graduates with the nursing knowledge and skills to meet patients' physical needs, as well as the biblical foundation to meet spiritual needs. Each of the graduates is hired full-time as a nurse at one of the two ABWE hospitals in Togo.
Through the generosity of donors, the "nursing student adoption program" covers nursing students' education expenses, translator salaries, textbooks, and supplies for the entire three years of the full-time nursing program. In addition, this program gives to the donor the opportunity of choosing a specific nursing student for whom to pray during his/her education.
A donation of $6000 will fully support the education of a Togolese nursing student for the entire three years of the nursing program at one of our two nursing schools in Togo. A donation of any amount would help with the student's education. The donor is encouraged to pray specifically for the nursing student. Regular updates on the nursing schools are available through notification of Sharon Rahilly, Director of the Nursing Schools at sharon.rahilly@abwego.org.
