El Roi University Center Togo

Togo

El Roï was created to reach a specific population of unreached/under-engaged Islamic Students who currently study at the University of Kara through various services who are then invited to join a bible study group with the ultimate goal of a church plant in their own village or city by their own people group.

The Kara and Central regions of Togo have the largest density of unreached/unengaged people groups of which the two largest are Muslim. Both of these groups have students who study at Kara University which has over 21,000 students. We have designed a ministry that will be open to all students but will invite these two Muslim people groups into the community through English Conversation Groups focusing on issues of faith. Through these conversation groups, they will be invited to "Hope Groups" designed to introduce Jesus organically through a chronological bible study. The ultimate goal is to disciple individuals from these groups to then plant a church in their hometown.

You can join this journey by:

  1. Regular prayer support for wisdom, faithfulness, and clear gospel opportunities.
  2. Regular and one-time sacrificial gifts. We need $55, 700 to open by January and continual support of $1950 a month thereafter.
  3. Team Members-We need both short- and long-term missionaries who can serve in this region to reach the most unreached in Togo.
